SUMMER CAMP 2008

Established in 1980, the Summer Junior Tennis Camp is for junior players, at all experience levels, ages 6 to 16. Each of the nine one-week sessions is individually programmed. In the course of each one-week session, children will improve their tennis skills, and learn teamwork and good sportsmanship, while staying in shape and having fun.

Special Features
USTA Certificates: A United States Tennis Association certificate will be awarded to every camper upon completion of each session. 

Sportstar: a complete Sportsmanship Program from the USTA develops appreciation for tennis rules, conduct and competition 

Lunch: a cafeteria-style lunch will be provided daily on the University campus. 

Video: video training tapes are used as an instructional aid. 

Tournaments: Wilson sponsored events will be held throughout the summer. 

Extended Hours Available

Staff: Hal Mackin is Head Professional and Manager at the Robert P. Levy Tennis Pavilion. He is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association and serve on The Wilson Tennis Advisory Staff.

Assistant instructors are selected for both their teaching ability and knowledge of the game.

Facility
The Summer Junior Tennis Camp is held at the Robert P. Levy Tennis Pavilion's eight indoor air-conditioned courts on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. The Pavilion is a five minute walk from 30th Street Station.

Fee: 
The fee is $275.00 per one-week session, which includes a daily cafeteria lunch. A family discount is available for two or more children that attend the same week. 

Extended hours fee of $8.00 per day (from 3:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.) 

Registration: 
Please download and fill out the application form and send a registration fee of $100.00 per child before May 1st. This fee will be applied towards your balance. Space will only be guaranteed with payment of the registration fee. Enrollment is limited. All registration fees are non-refundable. Checks should be made payable to Levy Tennis Pavilion.
